Along with the Infinix Hot 12 Pro, Infinix also launched the Infinix Hote 12 in Nepal today. It is its latest Hot-series budget smartphone.
The Infinix Hot 12 price in Nepal is Rs. 21,999 (6/128GB). The phone is available at mobile retail stores across Nepal and online at Daraz.
Inifnix Hot 12 is an upgraded version of the Hot 12 Play and comes with an Helio G85 chipset.
So, let’s take a look at its specification, features, and availability in Nepal.
Infinix mentions that the Infinix Hot 12 uses a durable flat-edge design. It has a plastic back and plastic frame with a rectangular camera module similar to Infinix Hot 12 Play.
The fingerprint sensor embedded power button and volume buttons are both located on the right side of the phone.
The bottom has a mic, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, and a speaker. Moreover, it has a dual stereo speaker setup with DTS.

It has a large 6.82-inch HD+ IPS TFT panel with a center punch-hole cutout for a camera. Furthermore, it supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
Infinix Hot 12 is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset.
It is a 12nm chipset with Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU and Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The Unisoc T610 chipset used on the Hot 12 Play also has a similar CPU and GPU configuration.
The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage via a microSD card.
The phone features a triple-camera setup with a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an AI Lens.
On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera. The device can shoot video up to 1080p at 30fps from both rear and front cameras.
The battery has been downgraded to 5000mAh on the Hot 12 compared to 6000mAh on the Hot 12 Play. However, it now supports 18W fast charging.
Infinix says that the phone comes with Android 12 topped with XOS 10.6.

The Infinix Hot 12 is a budget phone with a lot of great features. It has a modern punch-hole cutout, 90Hz display, and a 5000mAh battery. But, it uses a 720p panel and an Helio G85 chipset which is not the best hardware you can get for the expected price.
